Walking

If you are starting from the downtown area of Libreville, head towards the Boulevard de l'Indépendance. Walk along the boulevard until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Colonel Fabien. Turn left onto Avenue du Colonel Fabien. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la République. Stay on this road for another 10 minutes. You will see Cathédrale Sainte Marie on your right-hand side, just past the intersection with Avenue de la Liberté. If you are near the Place de l'Indépendance, exit the square towards the Boulevard de l'Indépendance. Walk east along the boulevard for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la République. Turn right onto Avenue de la République and walk straight for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for the large, white structure of Cathédrale Sainte Marie on your right, shortly after the intersection with Avenue du Colonel Fabien.

Starting from the beach area at Pointe Denis, bike along the coastal road towards Libreville. Follow the signs that direct you to the city center. After about 30 minutes, you will enter Libreville. Continue straight until you reach Boulevard de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto the boulevard and ride for about 1 km. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la République. Cathédrale Sainte Marie will be on your right-hand side after approximately 10 minutes of cycling.
Public Transport

From the central bus station in Libreville, take a local minibus heading towards the city center.
