If you are driving from Imereti to Mtatsminda Park, take the E60 highway towards Tbilisi. Once in Tbilisi, follow the signs to the city center. As you approach the city, take the exit toward the Old Tbilisi area. Follow the signs for Mtatsminda Park, which is located atop Mtatsminda Mountain. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation - Bus

To reach Mtatsminda Park via public transportation, take a bus from any major town in Imereti to Tbilisi. Once in Tbilisi, you can take Bus #49, which will take you to the base of Mtatsminda Mountain. From there, you can either hike up to the park or take the funicular railway, which has a separate fare (approximately 1.5 GEL). The funicular provides a scenic ride to the top.

Public Transportation - Train

If you prefer traveling by train, take a train from Imereti to Tbilisi. The train station in Tbilisi is located near the city center. From the train station, you can take a taxi or walk to the nearest bus station (about 15 minutes). From there, catch Bus #49 to the base of Mtatsminda Mountain, and either hike or take the funicular to the park.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from anywhere in Imereti to Mtatsminda Park. This option will be quicker but more expensive than public transportation. The taxi fare will depend on your starting point but can range from 40 to 70 GEL. Ensure to agree on the fare before starting the journey.
