To reach Bastei Köln from Bonn, start by heading to Bonn Hauptbahnhof (Bonn Central Station). Take a regional train (RE) heading to Köln Hbf (Cologne Central Station). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Köln Hbf, exit the station and head towards the main exit. From here, follow the signs for the tram station located just outside the train station.

At the tram station in front of Köln Hbf, board tram line 5 (towards Fühlinger See) or tram line 18 (towards Thielenbruch). You will need to travel for 5 stops. Get off at the 'Heumarkt' stop. From Heumarkt, follow the signs to the Rhine River promenade. Walk towards the river, and you will see Bastei Köln directly along the waterfront at Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer 80.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Köln Hbf, exit the station and head directly south on the 'Bischofstraße'. Continue straight until you reach the 'Kölnmesse' tram stop, then turn left onto 'Cäcilienstraße' and follow it until you reach the Rhine River. Once you are at the river, turn right and walk along the promenade for about 10 minutes until you reach Bastei Köln at Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer 80.
