Walking
If you are starting from the Bremen Main Station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Stadtmitte' (city center). Walk straight down the Bahnhofstraße, which will eventually turn into the Böttcherstraße. Continue walking until you reach the Marktplatz (market square), which is a famous landmark. From here, you can see the Roland statue and the Town Hall. Head towards the river Weser, which is a short walk from the square. Once you reach the riverbank, follow the path that runs along the river until you arrive at Schlachte, a beautiful promenade lined with restaurants and bars.
