Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in Deutz, the most straightforward way to reach Rheinpark is to walk. Start by heading towards the Deutz train station (Köln-Deutz Bahnhof). Exit the station and walk towards the river Rhine, following the signs for Auenweg. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and follow the path along the Rhine. In about 10-15 minutes, you will arrive at Rheinpark, located at Auenweg Rheinpark, 50679 Köln. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

• Public Transport (Tram)

  From the Deutz area, you can also take a tram to get to Rheinpark. Head to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Köln Deutz' tram station. Board tram number 1 towards 'Bonn' or tram number 9 towards 'Sülzgürtel'. Get off at the stop 'Rheinpark' (this is a direct stop for your destination). The tram ride takes about 5-7 minutes. After you get off, you will see the entrance to Rheinpark right in front of you. The tram ticket costs around €3.00 for a single journey.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle to reach Rheinpark. Many bike rental stations are available in Deutz. Once you have your bike, head towards the Rhine river and follow the scenic bike paths along the riverside. The ride to Rheinpark should take you about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to park your bike at the designated bike racks available at the park entrance.
