If you're starting from the Nippes train station (Bahnhof Nippes), exit the station and head northeast on Ebertplatz towards Worringer Str. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Worringer Str. Walk for about 600 meters until you reach the junction with Gotenstr. Turn right onto Gotenstr. and continue walking for about 400 meters. You will see Sonnenuhr on your left at the coordinates XX6C+P4.

From any location in Nippes, you can take the tram line 12 from the nearest tram stop (Nippes, Bf). Board the tram heading towards Merkenich. After 3 stops, get off at 'Gottfried-Kelder-Str.' tram stop. From the tram stop, walk south on Gottfried-Kelder-Str. for about 200 meters, then turn left onto Gotenstr. Walk for another 200 meters, and you will find Sonnenuhr on your right. The tram ticket cost is €2.90 for a single journey.
