Train
From Dresden, head to the main train station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof). You can reach the station via tram or bus if needed. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Bad Schandau, which is the nearest town to Sächsische Schweiz National Park. The direct train ride takes approximately 40 minutes. After arriving at Bad Schandau station, exit the train and follow the signs towards the town center.

Upon reaching Bad Schandau, you can take a local bus (Bus line 241) towards 'Schmilka', which takes you closer to the National Park entrance. The bus stop is just outside the train station.
