Walking
From the center of Andreasvorstadt, start by heading northwest on Andreasstraße towards Waidstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Angerstraße. At this point, turn left onto Angerstraße. Walk along Angerstraße for approximately 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes on your way. Angerbrunnen (Alt) is located at Anger 39, which will be to your right. Look for the beautiful fountain, which is a well-known landmark in the area.
Public Transport - Tram
If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest tram stop, which is located on Andreasstraße. Take Tram Line 1 or 3 towards the direction of 'Erfurt Hauptbahnhof'. After 2 stops, disembark at 'Anger' station. From there, it's a short walk to Angerbrunnen (Alt). Exit the tram and walk west on Angerstraße for about 5 minutes, and you will find Angerbrunnen (Alt) at Anger 39 on your left. A single tram ticket costs approximately €2.00.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Andreasvorstadt. Head northwest on Andreasstraße, then turn left onto Angerstraße. Cycle for about 10 minutes and look for Angerbrunnen (Alt) at Anger 39. Make sure to follow the designated bike lanes for safety. Rental costs vary, but expect to pay around €1.50 for a short-term rental.
