Start at the Erfurt main train station (Erfurt Hauptbahnhof). From there, take tram line 1 towards 'Gispersleben'. Get off at the 'Anger' stop, which is the main shopping area in the city. From Anger, transfer to bus line 80 towards 'Wümbach'. The bus will take you towards the outskirts of Erfurt. After about 35 minutes, get off at the 'Wümbach' stop. From here, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach Talsperre Leibis/Lichte. Head southeast on Wümbachstraße, then turn left onto Lichtenauer Straße, and follow this road until you reach the lake.
