From Ilmenau city center, follow the main road (Waldstraße) south towards Frauenwald. The Jagdhaus Gabelbach is located approximately 3 km from Ilmenau, along this road. Look for signs indicating the Jagdhaus Gabelbach or Berghotel Gabelbach. Parking is available near the Jagdhaus. Parking fees are approximately €3 per day.

From Ilmenau, take bus line 300 towards Frauenwald. Get off at the 'Gabelbach' stop, which is directly in front of the Berg & Spa Hotel Gabelbach. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 5 minutes) to the Jagdhaus Gabelbach. A single bus fare costs around €2.50.
