Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, you can navigate to Bing Cave (Binghöhle) using the coordinates 49.8115613, 11.2159467. From the center of Wiesenttal, take the B470 road towards Behringersmühle. After approximately 3 kilometers, turn onto the Schauertal road. Continue for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the cave entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around €2 for the day.

Public Transportation

To reach Bing Cave via public transport, take a train to the nearest station, which is Ebermannstadt. From Ebermannstadt, catch bus line 222 towards Behringersmühle. You should disembark at the 'Binghöhle' stop. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may vary, especially on weekends. The entrance to the cave is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 500 meters uphill.

Walking

For those who enjoy hiking, you can also walk to Bing Cave from nearby towns. If you're staying in Ebermannstadt, follow the marked hiking trails towards the cave. The walk is about 4 kilometers and will take around 1 hour. The paths are well-marked and take you through beautiful forest scenery. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
