Car
From Fussen, head east on B310 (also known as Königstraße) towards Schwangau. Continue for about 4 kilometers. Once you reach Schwangau, turn left onto Marienstraße. Follow the road until you see the Marien Monument on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of potential parking fees which can range from €2 to €5 per day.
Public Transportation
From Fussen main train station, take bus line 78 towards Schwangau. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Disembark at the 'Schwangau, Marienstraße' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Marien Monument. The bus fare is approximately €2.50 per person.
Walking
If you are already in the town center of Fussen, you can walk to the Marien Monument. Head east on Königstraße and follow the signs towards Schwangau. The walk is approximately 4 kilometers and will take around 50 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
