Public Transport
If you're starting from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the S-Bahn line S3 or S31 towards Elbbrücken. Get off at the stop 'Elbbrücken', which is about a 10-minute ride. Upon exiting the station, head towards the Baakenhafen area, following the signs for Hafencity. It will take you about 10 minutes to walk to Baakenhafen from the station.
Walking
If you're near the historic Speicherstadt district, Baakenhafen is a pleasant 20-minute walk away. Head south towards the Elbphilharmonie, then follow the waterfront along the canal. Keep walking until you reach the Baakenhafen area, which is easily identifiable by its modern architecture and waterfront views.
Bus
From the city center, you can take bus number 111 from the bus stop 'Jungfernstieg' towards 'Fischmarkt'. Get off at 'Baakenhafen' bus stop. It's a short walk to the waterfront from there. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes.
