If you are near Hamburg City Hall (Rathaus), walk southeast towards the Alster River. Walk along the riverbank for about 15 minutes. The Gedenktafel is located on the path near the river on your right-hand side before the bridge.

From Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U-Bahn line U2 towards Niendorf Nord. Get off at 'Hauptbahnhof Süd'. Walk southwest towards Steinstraße, then continue for about 300 meters until the intersection with An der Alster. Turn right onto An der Alster, and walk for another 200 meters. The Otto Liss Gedenktafel will be on your left side, just before the bridge. A single ride ticket costs approximately €3.50.
