After approximately 7 km, you will reach the Teufelskanzel parking area. It's advisable to park your car here as the final stretch requires a short hike. The parking area may have a small fee of around €2 to €5 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Teufelskanzel via public transportation, take a train to Wernigerode Hauptbahnhof, the main train station. From there, you can catch the bus line 251 towards Elbingerode. Get off at the 'Teufelskanzel' stop. The bus ticket costs approximately €2.50. After getting off, you will need to walk about 1 km to reach the viewpoint, which is a scenic trail offering beautiful views of the surrounding area.
