Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the central area of Lake Constance, head towards the A81 motorway. Follow the signs for A81 towards Singen. After about 30 km, take the exit for B34 towards Stein am Rhein. Continue on B34 and follow the signs for Stein am Rhein. Once in Stein am Rhein, follow local roads to the Charregass area where the Rhine River Bridge is located. Parking options are available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees which may be applicable.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Rhine River Bridge by public transportation, you can take a train from any major station around Lake Constance, such as Konstanz or Friedrichshafen. Look for connections to Stein am Rhein, which is serviced by regional trains. The journey typically takes around 30-50 minutes depending on your starting location. Once you arrive at Stein am Rhein train station, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the bridge. Follow the signs towards the town center, and then head towards Charregass where the bridge is located. Ensure to check the latest train schedules as they may vary.

• Bicycle

  For an adventurous route, consider cycling to the Rhine River Bridge. Numerous scenic bike paths surround Lake Constance. From the town of Radolfzell, follow the cycle path along the lake towards Stein am Rhein. The ride is about 20 km and takes roughly 1-1.5 hours. Once you reach Stein am Rhein, follow local signs to Charregass where the bridge is situated. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water, as some stretches may be remote.
