Getting There

  • Car

    From Lüneburg Heath, take the B209 highway towards Hamburg. After approximately 30 km, merge onto the A7 highway towards Hamburg. Continue on the A7 for about 40 km. Take exit 23 towards Hamburg-Öjendorf and merge onto B5. Follow signs for the city center. Once in Hamburg, you can find parking near the Hamburg Dungeon at Kehrwieder 2, 20457 Hamburg. Be aware that parking may incur costs, typically around €2-€3 per hour.

  • Public Transportation

    From Lüneburg Heath, take a train from Lüneburg Station to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (central station). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes, and tickets typically cost around €8-€12. From Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, you can walk to the Hamburg Dungeon. Exit the station and head southwest on Adenauerallee. Turn right onto Glockengießerwall, then continue straight until you reach Kehrwieder. The dungeon will be on your left at Kehrwieder 2.
