Getting There

  • Car

    From Lüneburg Heath, take the B75 road towards Buchholz in der Nordheide. Continue on the B75 for approximately 15 kilometers. When you reach Buchholz, look for signs indicating the direction to 'Unnamed Rd'. Turn onto Unnamed Rd, and follow it for about 2 kilometers. Hell’s Canyon will be located on your left side. Ensure to check parking availability in the area.

    Start at your nearest bus stop in Lüneburg Heath and take a bus heading towards Buchholz in der Nordheide. You may need to transfer at Buchholz main station (Buchholz (Nordheide) Bahnhof). Once at Buchholz, take bus line 440 towards 'Hanstedt'. Get off at the stop 'Unnamed Rd'. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Hell’s Canyon, which will be on your left side as you walk along Unnamed Rd.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Lüneburg Heath. Follow the cycling paths towards Buchholz, taking the B75 route. It is approximately a 17-kilometer ride, which should take about an hour. Upon reaching Buchholz, navigate to Unnamed Rd and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you reach Hell’s Canyon.
