Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start at Münster Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). From there, take bus line 11 towards 'Gievenbeck'. It departs every 15 minutes from the station. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, then get off at the 'Gievenbeck, Dorfplatz' stop. From there, walk straight on Gievenbecker Weg for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Theo-Breider-Weg. Turn left onto Theo-Breider-Weg, and you will find Backhütte at number 1, located on your right side.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Aasee (the lake), you can walk to Backhütte. Start at the Aasee and head west along the lake’s path. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Gievenbecker Weg. Turn right onto Gievenbecker Weg and walk for about 1 km. When you reach the intersection with Theo-Breider-Weg, turn right, and Backhütte will be on your right at number 1.

  • Biking

    If you have a bike, start from the city center and head towards the Aasee. Follow the bike path that runs along the lake, heading northwest. After reaching the end of the lake, continue north on Gievenbecker Weg. After about 1 km, turn right onto Theo-Breider-Weg, and you will find Backhütte at number 1 on your right.
