Walking
If you are starting from the city center, head west towards the Aasee (Lake Aasee). Walk along the Promenade, a lovely tree-lined path. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Scharnhorststraße. Turn right onto Scharnhorststraße, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Höltenweg. Turn left onto Höltenweg, and you will soon see the remnants of the former city wall on your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental stations in the city center. Head towards the Promenade and cycle west along it. When you reach the Aasee, continue around the lake following the path. Once you exit the park area, take a left onto Scharnhorststraße, then turn left onto Höltenweg. The remains of the city wall will be visible on your right side.

From the central bus station (ZOB), take Bus 5 towards 'Wolbecker Straße.' After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Höltenweg.' From the bus stop, walk east on Höltenweg for about 5 minutes, and you will find the remnants of the former city wall on your left.
