Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor), exit the gate and head south towards the main street, Alte Fahrt. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Breite Straße. Turn right onto Breite Straße and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will see Bassinplatz on your left, a beautiful square surrounded by historic buildings.

From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 91 towards S Potsdam Pirschheide. Get off at the stop called 'Bassinplatz.' The journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you exit the tram, you will be right at Bassinplatz, which is an attractive square perfect for a stroll.

If you are at Sanssouci Park, exit the park through the main gate and walk towards the city center. You will need to head east on Am Kanal and follow the canal for about 1 kilometer. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Breite Straße, then turn left. Bassinplatz will be on your right after a short walk.
