Bus
From Potsdam, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Potsdam, Hauptbahnhof'. Take the Bus 690 towards 'S Potsdam, Hauptbahnhof'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Berlin, Hauptbahnhof'. From there, transfer to Bus 100 or Tram M5. If you choose the Tram, take M5 towards 'Am Steinplatz'. Get off at the 'Schloßplatz' stop. The Humboldt Box is a short walk from there, located at Schloßpl. 5, 10178 Berlin.
Train
Start at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take a regional train (RE) towards Berlin. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Get off at 'Berlin Hauptbahnhof'. From the main station, take the S-Bahn S5 towards 'Straußberg Nord', or S7 towards 'Ahrensfelde'. After one stop, get off at 'Friedrichstraße'. From Friedrichstraße, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take the U-Bahn line U6 towards 'Alt-Tegel' and get off at 'Stadtmitte'. From there, it’s a short walk to Schloßpl. 5, where the Humboldt Box is located.
Walking
If you are already in central Potsdam, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Berlin. Begin at the 'Nauener Tor' in Potsdam and follow the main road towards the river. Cross the Glienicke Bridge, which connects Potsdam and Berlin. Once in Berlin, continue straight until you reach the 'Schloßplatz'. The Humboldt Box is located at Schloßpl. 5, 10178 Berlin. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, but it offers picturesque views of the surrounding area.
Tram
From the center of Potsdam, walk to the tram stop 'Potsdam, Platz der Einheit'. Take Tram M1 towards 'Potsdam, Waldstadt' and change at the 'Potsdam, Hauptbahnhof' stop. From there, board Tram M5 towards 'Am Steinplatz' and get off at 'Schloßplatz'. The Humboldt Box is just a short walk from the tram stop, located at Schloßpl. 5, 10178 Berlin.
