From Potsdam, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Potsdam, Hauptbahnhof'. Take the Bus 690 towards 'S Potsdam, Hauptbahnhof'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Berlin, Hauptbahnhof'. From there, transfer to Bus 100 or Tram M5. If you choose the Tram, take M5 towards 'Am Steinplatz'. Get off at the 'Schloßplatz' stop. Start at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take a regional train (RE) towards Berlin. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Get off at 'Berlin Hauptbahnhof'. From the main station, take the S-Bahn S5 towards 'Straußberg Nord', or S7 towards 'Ahrensfelde'. After one stop, get off at 'Friedrichstraße'.
