Public Transport
From Potsdam, take the S-Bahn S7 train from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (central station) towards Ahrensfelde. Get off at Berlin-Wannsee station. From there, transfer to bus 114 towards 'Müggelsee'. The bus will take you directly to the Müggelsee area. The whole journey should take about 1 hour.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Potsdam and head towards the south-east direction. Follow the signs to the Berlin bike paths. You can ride along the River Havel and connect to the bike paths that lead to the Müggelsee. This scenic route takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your cycling speed.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and have good stamina, you can walk from Potsdam to Müggelsee. Start at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof and head southeast towards the Glienicker Brücke (Glienicke Bridge). Cross the bridge into Berlin and continue straight on until you reach Müggelsee. This walk is quite long, around 20 kilometers, and may take approximately 4-5 hours.
