Tro-Tro
From the center of Accra (e.g., Kwame Nkrumah Circle), walk to the nearest Tro-Tro station, which is usually located near the main bus terminals. Look for a Tro-Tro heading towards 'Nungua' or 'Teshie' on the signboard. Board the Tro-Tro and pay the fare (usually around 2-5 GHS). The ride should take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver or mate that you are going to Coco Beach or Nungua Beach, and they will let you know when to disembark. Get off at the Nungua Junction stop.
Walking
After getting off at Nungua Junction, walk towards the main road (Nungua Barrier Road). Head east on the road, following the signs towards Coco Beach. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass local shops and eateries. As you approach the beach area, you will see signs leading to Coco Beach. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance.
Shared Taxi
Alternatively, from Kwame Nkrumah Circle, you can take a shared taxi to Nungua. Look for taxis that display 'Nungua' as their destination. The fare is typically around 10-15 GHS per person. Once you arrive in Nungua, ask the driver to drop you off at Coco Beach or near the beach area. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
