Public Bus

Trotro (Shared Minibus)

Make your way to a major trotro station in Accra, such as the Kaneshie Market area. Look for a trotro with a destination sign that includes 'Tema' or 'Nungua'. Board the trotro, and make sure to pay the fare to the conductor. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, ask the conductor to let you know when you reach the stop closest to Green Beach. Once you get off, walk towards the coast, and locals can assist you with the final directions to the beach.

Walking Directions from a Landmark

If you are near the Independence Arch in Accra, you can start your journey by walking to the nearest bus stop on George Bush Highway. From there, take a bus or trotro towards Nungua. After alighting, head east towards the coast, and you will see signs directing you to Green Beach. Depending on your walking pace, this final stretch may take another 15-20 minutes.
