If you are starting from East Legon, you can walk towards the main street (George Bush Highway). From there, head in the direction of Achimota. The distance is approximately 4.5 km. Continue straight until you reach Achimota Forest, where the Accra Zoo is located. Be mindful of local traffic while walking.

From East Legon, find a bus stop along the main road. Take a bus heading towards Achimota or Kaneshie. The fare is usually around GHS 1-2. Inform the conductor that you are heading to Achimota Forest. Once you arrive, you can walk to the zoo, which is a short distance from the bus stop.
