Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Accra, start at Kwame Nkrumah Circle. Head east on the main road, which is named George Bush Highway. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Prof. Atta Mills High Street. Take a left onto Prof. Atta Mills High Street and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. Ussher Fort will be on your right at number 33, just past the junction with another local street.

  • Public Transport (Tro-Tro)

    From the central bus station at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, take a Tro-Tro heading towards Jamestown. The fare is usually around 1-2 GHS. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Ussher Fort. Once you arrive at the stop, walk back towards Prof. Atta Mills High Street, and you will find Ussher Fort at number 33 on your left.
