Walking
If you are in Osu, find your way to Oxford Street, which is the main road in the area. From there, head towards the beach. Continue walking straight down Oxford Street until you reach the intersection with the beach road. Turn left at this intersection and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes. You will see Osu Castle on your right-hand side, situated near the coastline. The walk is scenic and will allow you to experience local shops and street vendors along the way.
Public Transport (Trotro)
If you prefer to use public transport, you can catch a 'trotro' from any major junction in Osu. Look for one heading towards 'James Town' or 'Bortianor', as these routes will take you close to Osu Castle. The fare is typically around 1-2 GHS (Ghanaian Cedi). Inform the driver to drop you off at 'Osu Castle' when you get to the vicinity. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to the castle, just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.
Bicycle Rental
For a more enjoyable and active option, consider renting a bicycle. There are several bicycle rental shops along Oxford Street. Once you have a bike, head towards the beach by cycling straight down Oxford Street. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the beach road. Turn left and continue cycling for another 5 minutes until you spot Osu Castle on your right. This option allows you to explore the area at your own pace and enjoy the coastal views.
