Public Transport
From Ada Foah, take a shared taxi or mini-bus heading towards Ayonukope. The fare typically ranges from 2 to 5 GHS. Inform the driver of your destination, Songor Lagoon Protected Area, so they can drop you off at the closest point. From the drop-off point in Ayonukope, it's approximately a 10-minute walk to the lagoon. Follow any signs or ask locals for directions.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From Ada Foah, a taxi or ride-share to Songor Lagoon Protected Area in Ayonukope will cost approximately 15-25 GHS, depending on the vehicle and negotiation. The journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Ensure the driver knows the location, as it may not be well-known.
Driving
From Ada Foah, drive towards Ayonukope. Follow the road signs directing you to Ayonukope. After approximately 10-15 minutes, you will arrive at the Songor Lagoon Protected Area located at RFP9+3JH, Ayonukope. Look for the entrance, which may be marked but can be somewhat understated. Parking is generally available near the entrance, but it may be limited. There are no specific parking fees.
