If you are starting from the Cape Coast Castle, exit the castle grounds and head east on the main road (Castle Road). Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the main highway (George Bush Highway). Turn right onto the highway and follow it for about 1 kilometer until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the University of Cape Coast road. Continue straight, passing the University of Cape Coast East Gate on your left. After about 500 meters, you will see the Centre For National Culture on your right. The Summer Palace Hotel is located behind this center, so head towards the back until you find the entrance.
