Once you arrive at the location (QX37+5P7, Akwidaa), you will find the ruins of the fort. There is no entrance fee, but consider bringing water and snacks as there are no facilities nearby.

To reach Fort Dorothea via public transport, take a shared taxi or 'trotro' from Cape Three Points to Akwidaa. The fare is usually around 2-5 GHS. Inform the driver that you are heading to Fort Dorothea or Akwidaa. Once you arrive in Akwidaa, you may need to walk approximately 1 km towards the fort's location (QX37+5P7).
