Walking
From the center of Ho, head southeast on the main street (Akwamu Road) until you reach the junction with the Ho Polytechnic. Turn left onto the road that leads toward the Polytechnic. Continue straight for about 1 km until you see a sign for Avu Lagoon on your right. Follow the dirt path for approximately 500 meters until you arrive at the lagoon.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ho. Start from the central market and head towards Akwamu Road, cycling southeast. After about 1 km, turn left at the junction with the Polytechnic road. Continue for another 1 km, then look for the sign to Avu Lagoon on your right. Take the dirt path and cycle approximately 500 meters until you reach the lagoon.
Public Transport (Trotro)
From the central market in Ho, take a trotro heading towards Ho Polytechnic. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they are passing the Polytechnic. After a short ride of about 10-15 minutes, disembark at the Polytechnic stop. From there, walk down the road towards Akwamu Road and look for the signs to Avu Lagoon. Follow the path for about 500 meters to arrive at your destination.
