Experience Labadi Beach

Getting There

  • Car

    From Kakum National Park, head southeast towards the Cape Coast - Takoradi Road (N1). Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Accra - Cape Coast Road (N1). Take the exit towards Accra. Continue on N1 for about 140 kilometers. As you approach Accra, follow the signs for the George Bush Highway. Follow the highway until you reach the Kpeshie Lagoon area. Finally, follow the signs to Labadi Beach. There are usually parking facilities available at the beach, but you may need to pay a small fee, typically around GHS 5-10 for parking.

  • Public Transportation

    From Kakum National Park, you will need to take a shared taxi or 'trotro' (public minibus) to Cape Coast. The fare is generally around GHS 2-5. Once in Cape Coast, find the main bus terminal and take a bus to Accra. The bus fare will be approximately GHS 15-20. Upon arrival in Accra, you can take a taxi or another 'trotro' to Labadi Beach. The local fare for this last leg should be around GHS 5-10. Make sure to confirm that the taxi or trotro is headed to Labadi Beach before you board.
