After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the junction of the road leading to Sawla. Turn left onto this road and continue for about 20 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Savla Dam. As you approach Sawla, you will need to look for the 'Usarangaon Devi Mandir' landmark, which is close to the dam. The dam is located near this mandir, and you can park your car nearby.

Public Transportation

To reach Savla Dam using public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or a bus from the Mole National Park area to Damongo. This ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Once in Damongo, switch to a shared taxi heading towards Sawla. The fare for the taxi from Damongo to Sawla is typically around 10-15 GHS. After arriving in Sawla, ask the locals for directions to Usarangaon Devi Mandir, as the dam is situated nearby. You may need to walk a short distance to reach the dam from the mandir.

Walking

If you find yourself in Sawla after taking public transport, you can walk to Savla Dam from the town center.
