    Starting from the central square of Alexandroupoli (Plateia), head east on Dimokratias Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Kallirois Street. Turn left onto Kallirois Street and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the signs directing you towards the Castle of Potamos. Follow the signs as you walk for another 1 kilometer. The castle will be on your left, visible from a distance.

  • Bus

    From the central bus station in Alexandroupoli, take the local bus heading towards Makri. The bus will take you along the coastal road. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Potamos stop. From the bus stop, walk about 500 meters west along the road until you see signs for the Castle of Potamos. The castle entrance will be on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Alexandroupoli. Start at the waterfront promenade and cycle east. Follow the coastal road, and then take the road leading to Potamos. The distance is about 3 kilometers. Look for directional signs as you approach the castle area. There is a bike-friendly path that leads directly to the castle.
