Bus

From the center of Kos Town, head to the main bus station located near the harbor at 1 G. Vasileos Street. Take the bus heading towards Kardamaina. After approximately 30 minutes, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Plaka Forest. Once you get off, follow the signs leading to Plaka Forest, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill.

Bike

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops in Kos Town. Head south on the coastal road towards Tigaki, then follow the signs to Iraklidis. The route to Plaka Forest is approximately 15 kilometers and will take around 1 hour by bike. Once you arrive at the entrance of Plaka Forest, you can lock your bike at the designated bike racks.

Walking

For those who enjoy walking, start from Kos Town and head towards the Hippocrates Tree. Continue walking on the main road heading southeast. After about 6 kilometers, you will reach the village of Zia. From Zia, follow the signs to Plaka Forest, which is about 2 kilometers further. The total walking distance is approximately 8 kilometers and will take roughly 1.5 to 2 hours.

Taxi

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from any location in Kos. Simply request a taxi to Plaka Forest, located on Unnamed Rd, Iraklidis. The ride should take about 20 minutes from Kos Town, and you can expect to pay around €15-€20 for the fare. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
