Getting There

    From the center of Mount Olympus, take the E65 highway towards Katerini. Continue on the E65 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the exit for Dion (Dion exit). Once you exit, follow the signs to Dion, which is approximately 3 kilometers from the highway. As you approach Dion, you will see signs for the Sanctuary of Demeter. There is parking available near the site.

    From the nearest town in Mount Olympus, you can take a local bus to Katerini. The buses run regularly and the fare is approximately 2-3 euros. Once you arrive in Katerini, transfer to a bus towards Dion. This second leg of the journey will take about 20 minutes and costs around 1-2 euros. After arriving in Dion, it is a short walk (about 1 kilometer) to the Sanctuary of Demeter, following the signs.
