If you're traveling by car, start your journey in the village of Tsagkarada, which is well-signposted throughout Mount Pelion. From the center of Tsagkarada, head east on the EO Neochoriou Tsagkaradas road. Follow the road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach Panoramic Point, located at EO Neochoriou Tsagkaradas 26. There is parking available near the viewpoint. Please note that while there are no specific fees for parking, you should ensure that your vehicle is parked legally.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a local bus from Volos to Tsagkarada. Buses run regularly, but it is advisable to check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Tsagkarada, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach Panoramic Point. The distance is about 2 kilometers from the village center. Taxis are available near the bus stop, and the fare should be around €5-€10. Walking is also a pleasant option if you enjoy hiking, as the route offers beautiful scenery.
Walking
For those already in Tsagkarada, a walking route to Panoramic Point can be quite enjoyable. From the village center, head east towards EO Neochoriou Tsagkaradas road. The walk is approximately 2 kilometers and takes about 30-40 minutes. There are signs along the way directing you to the viewpoint. Wear comfortable shoes, as the pathway might be uneven in parts.
