Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town in Mount Pelion, such as Volos. Get onto the E65 road heading towards South Pelion. Continue on Epar.Od. Agrias-Mileon until you reach the sign for Vizitsa. The panoramic square is located at Epar.Od. Agrias-Mileon 173, Notio Pilio 370 10. There is parking available near the square, but it can fill up quickly, especially during peak tourist seasons.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Vizitsa by public transport, take a bus from Volos to Zagora. Buses run regularly from the Volos bus station. Once you arrive in Zagora, you can take another local bus or a taxi to Vizitsa. The local bus service may not run as frequently, so be sure to check the schedule in advance. The final stop in Vizitsa will drop you close to the panoramic square, where you can enjoy the views.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option and are traveling with a group, you can hire a taxi from either Volos or Zagora directly to Vizitsa. Be sure to agree on a fare before the journey. This option is more expensive than public transport but offers convenience and flexibility.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in one of the villages, walking to Vizitsa can be a delightful experience. The trails between villages in Mount Pelion are well-marked, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscape. However, ensure you have appropriate footwear and water, as some paths can be steep.
