Step through history at Nafplio's Land Gate, the only entrance to the city for centuries, now a beautifully reconstructed landmark.
The Land Gate, or Porta di Terraferma, stands as the historical entrance to Nafplio. Built by the Venetians in the early 18th century, it's a reconstructed monument that once served as the city's only land access point, complete with a moat and drawbridge.
