If you are in the center of Rethymno, start at the Venetian Harbor. From there, walk along the waterfront promenade towards the east. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the main road, which is Odos Arkadiou. Turn left onto Odos Arkadiou and continue straight, passing through the town center. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see signs pointing towards Chania. Follow these signs until you reach the bus station in Rethymno. From the bus station, take a bus to Chania, which will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Chania bus station, exit and head towards the Old Town. Walk along Halidon Street until you reach the intersection with Kondilaki Street. Turn right onto Par. Kondilaki, and you will find the Etz Hayyim Synagogue at number 731.
