From the center of Rethymno, head towards the seafront promenade. Walk along the promenade heading east until you reach the end of the beach. Continue walking along the beach for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several beach bars and restaurants. Kalypso Beach is situated further along; look for the signage indicating the beach entrance. It should take you around 20-30 minutes to reach.

From the central bus station in Rethymno, take the local bus towards Kalipso (check the bus schedule as it may vary). The bus journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Inform the driver you want to go to Kalypso Beach, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, walk a short distance following the signs to reach the beach entrance.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Rethymno. Once you have your bike, follow the coastal road eastward. The route is flat and follows the shoreline, making for a pleasant ride. It should take about 15 minutes to reach Kalypso Beach. Look for signage along the way pointing towards beach access.
