From Rethymno's central bus station (Ktel), take the bus heading towards Agia Galini. The journey to Ligres beach will take approximately 40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you are going to Ligres beach, as some buses may not stop directly at the beach. Once you arrive at the Ligres bus stop, follow the signs leading to the beach, which is a short walk down a path. The beach should be visible within a few minutes.

Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end of the harbor area, where you’ll find the main road. The walk is quite long and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
