From the center of Rethymno, head to the main bus station (Ktel Rethymnou) located on the corner of Ethnikis Antistaseos and Koundourou streets. Take a bus towards the village of Patsos. The buses run regularly, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Patsos, walk towards the village center and follow the signs to Patsos Gorge.

If you are feeling adventurous and would like to hike to Patsos Gorge from Rethymno, start from the Old Town and head towards the coast. Walk along the beachfront promenade until you reach the exit of the town. From there, follow the signs leading to the village of Patsos (about 14 km). The hike will take around 3-4 hours, so make sure to carry plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes.
