Walking
From the center of Rethymno, head towards the Old Port. Walk along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the scenic views. Continue past the Venetian Harbor until you reach the end of the promenade. At the end, turn left onto the road leading to the coast. Follow this road, which will curve to the right and lead you towards the area of Plakias. Souda Beach is approximately a 45-minute walk from the harbor, and you will see signs directing you to the beach.

From the center of Rethymno, locate the local bus station near the Old Town. Take the bus heading towards Plakias. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Be sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Souda Beach, as some buses may stop at various points along the route. Once you arrive, walk down the path from the bus stop to the beach entrance.
