Car
From the entrance of Samaria Gorge, drive towards Chania. After approximately 45 minutes, take the road towards Sfakia. Follow the signs for Sfakia (also indicated as Sfakia Beach). As you approach Sfakia, keep an eye out for signs to Rousiés. The drive from Chania to Rousiés takes about 1.5 hours. There is no parking fee at Rousiés, and you will be able to park your car near the area.

Public Transportation
From the exit of Samaria Gorge, take a local bus to Chania. The bus departs regularly from the village of Agia Roumeli, where the gorge ends. Once in Chania, transfer to a bus heading to Sfakia. When you arrive in Sfakia, you can walk to Rousiés, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus station. Ensure you check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may vary. The combined bus fare will be around €10-€15.

If you are already in the Samaria Gorge area and enjoy hiking, you can walk to Rousiés from Agia Roumeli. The walk will take you through beautiful landscapes and will take around 1.5 hours. Follow the coastal path that leads south from Agia Roumeli toward Sfakia, and you will find trails leading to Rousiés. Ensure you have proper footwear and water for the hike.
