If you are starting from Fira, head to the central bus station located near the caldera. Catch a bus heading to Pyrgos. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pyrgos bus stop, exit the bus and walk straight down the main road. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will see Pyrgos Kallistis Castle on your left, elevated on the hill.

If you are staying in Pyrgos village, you can easily walk to Pyrgos Kallistis Castle. From the main square of Pyrgos, head towards the narrow cobblestone streets that lead up the hill. Follow the signs towards the castle. It will take around 15-20 minutes of walking uphill to reach the castle, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the stunning views along the way.
