If you are in the main town of Fira, start at the Fira Bus Station. Walk towards the main square, then head down the steps toward the caldera. Follow the pathway along the cliffside, which is well-marked and offers stunning views. Continue walking for approximately 10 km, passing through the villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli. The path is scenic, and you can take breaks at various viewpoints. Once you reach Oia, follow the signs towards the Windmill of Oia, located on the Unnamed Road. The windmill is visible from various points in Oia, so you can easily navigate towards it.

From Fira, head to the Fira Bus Station and take a bus towards Oia. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Oia's main bus station, exit the bus and follow the signs towards the center of Oia. It is a short walk from the bus station, and the windmill will be visible as you approach.
