The boat ride from Panajachel to San Juan takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the dock in San Juan La Laguna, disembark and head towards the main road.

    From the dock, walk towards the main street of San Juan La Laguna. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with RD-SOL-4. Look for signs directing you to Mirador Pachites, or ask locals for directions. The hike to the mirador begins from this point. The trail is well marked, and it typically takes around 30-45 minutes to walk to the viewpoint, depending on your pace. Be prepared for some uphill sections as you ascend towards the mirador.
