Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start by getting onto CA-1 (the Pan-American Highway). Depending on where you are in the Western Highlands, you may have to take several smaller roads to connect to CA-1. Follow CA-1 towards Guatemala City. As you approach the city, follow signs for Zone 1. Once in Zone 1, navigate towards Avenida 6 and then turn onto 6a Avenida. Plaza de la Constitución is located at JFRP+PQM, which is at the heart of the city.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those using public transport, head to the nearest bus terminal in your area (e.g., in Quetzaltenango, you can find buses at Terminal Minerva). Look for buses heading to Guatemala City. The cost will vary based on your starting location, but expect to pay between Q50 to Q150 for a ride from different parts of the Western Highlands to the plaza.
